Korsan and Hasta, who attended the same school since 1994, formed the group De Lee Khan in 1998 and have been involved in the German hip-hop scene ever since. Initially making demo tapes in a mix of Turkish and German, De Lee Khan later focused more on music for the German market. In 2000, they founded their own record label, "Ebeni-Records".
In 2001 and 2002, they participated in Germany's largest Turkish-language hip-hop jams. These were held in the cities of Nuremberg, Frankfurt, and Munich.

In 2002, they released their first album, "Nur für Ebeni" (Turkish: For Your Only Mother). Two Turkish songs from this album gained significant popularity. Their song "Adim, Adim" is a very well-known track in the Turkish hip-hop scene.

In 2004, the duo released a compilation album titled "Ulm's Liga Vol. 1" (Ulm's League No. 1), for which they also recorded a Turkish track called "Eski Formasyon" (Old Formation).

In 2005, De Lee Khan released his second album, “Die Platte des Jahres” (The Record of the Year). The track “De Lee K(h)an ve Ter,” a collaboration with Tahsin Paşa, known from the Turkish rap group “Kan ve Ter,” one of the oldest Turkish rap groups, garnered significant attention and acclaim.

Towards the end of 2005, the duo released the mixtape "Zwischen 2 Welten" (Between Two Worlds), which included the Turkish tracks "On Top" (At the Top) and "Was ist los?" (What Happened?).

De Lee Khan, who taught hip-hop classes in schools during the 2005/2006 school year, was nominated for the Ulm City Council's award for the most successful social worker of the year, in recognition of the success of his projects.

The duo, who had not previously released a Turkish rap album for the Turkish market, aimed to release their first Turkish rap album in 2007. They will also be releasing the highly anticipated "MastaRhymes" album to the German market.
