The event will take place on February 3-4, 2007, at Nermin Mehmet Çekiç High School in Batıkent. This time, the wall in Batıkent, where Ankara-based writers often paint and organize "Hall of Fame" events, will be open to our fellow writers from outside Ankara, with one key difference: we are holding this "Hall of Fame" event there as well.

Beyond graffiti, our previous goal with this organization was to bring together the community of writers who paint independently in various parts of Türkiye, and perhaps recreate the camaraderie and solidarity among writers that may be on the verge of disappearing.

How do I get to the venue where the Hof event is taking place?
The Hall of Fame will be built on the wall of Batıkent Nermin Mehmet Çekiç Anatolian High School, as you can see in the image below. On the day(s) the Hall of Fame is built, there will be a group meeting at 10:00 AM in front of the Kızılay YKM store, and from there we will all go together by metro. Instructions on how to get to the venue for those who will go independently are given below.

Take the metro, get off at the Batıkent last stop, and then take the Mesa bus. Tell the driver to let you know when you're arriving at Osmanbey Bazaar. When you get off at the Osmanbey Bazaar stop, you'll find yourself right next to Nermin Mehmet Çekiç Anatolian High School, which is just a short distance away.

Things to note regarding Hof

-Those who haven't yet received their paints will either go together to the meeting point on Saturday morning to pick them up, or they can meet on Friday, February 2nd, 2007, the day before the event, and buy them from hardware stores in Ulus or AKM. The agreed-upon prices are: Casati 4.5 million, Dupli Colors 5 million... We would also like to emphasize that you must complete your paint purchases by SUNDAY AT THE LATEST, because as you know, all shops will be CLOSED on Sunday due to the public holiday.

-Given that Hof will be held during the winter season, we strongly advise everyone attending, watching, or otherwise present to dress very warmly.

-Considering that a second event might be organized and that this could put us in a difficult situation and lead to the school revoking its permission, please do not fill the school building with tags, bombings, throw-ups, etc.

-Please note that there may be some changes or additions to the names on the poster until the day the wall is painted, as everyone is coming with their own means, buying paint, and painting the Hall of Fame.

-At Hof, action footage will be shot with cameras while the writers are creating graffiti. Considering that the more cameras we have, the more colorful footage we will be able to see after the Hof day, we kindly request that you bring your cameras with you if you have any.

-At the Ankara Hof, graffiti videos and films will also be sold. These will include videos of illegal train activities and CDs explaining how to draw various graffiti techniques. All videos are at least one hour long and of DVD quality. Each costs 5 million [Turkish Lira]. Those interested can obtain them from Rek during the Hof.

-Cap sales will be 2 TL each in the designated area (Pink fat, Gold skinny, Banana, etc.).

-We, as the organizers of the event, also ask all our brothers and sisters from Ankara to be warm and hospitable towards all writers coming from outside Ankara.
