Yener is a rapper from Izmir. He started listening to rap at a young age and released his first song, "Liseli Genç," in 1994. A well-known name in Turkish rap, Yener first gained recognition with the songs "Liseli Genç" and "Töre" from the album "Yeralti Operasyonu." Yener also owns a project called KUVA-i-ZMiR. Having given numerous concerts in Izmir, Istanbul, and Ankara, Yener has completed his album and filmed a music video for a new version of his song "Liseli Genç." As previously mentioned, Yener's album, "SUS," will be released under the UNIVERSAL label. The album features a style similar to Yener's style from "Yeralti Operasyonu." I had the chance to listen to a portion of this album on MIA.
The album is coming slowly, but it's going to be very solid, you can be sure of that. I'm sure everyone will love the new version of Liseli Genç. If all goes well, we'll be able to listen to Yener's album, SUS, around September-October… Yener is working with DJ ZACK, one of Izmir's well-known DJs.
