SND – First of all, could you please introduce yourself in detail for those who will be meeting you for the first time? Who is Buğra Milat?

Bugra Milat – Bugra Milat is an ambassador who has been performing Turkish-language music since 2003, trying to convey something to people through this music.

SND – When will you break your long silence? Because everyone is expecting something new from you... It's been 2-3 years since we last heard your songs.
You were most recently involved in the "Mahşer Yeri" event and then you went silent again; at one point you were going to release a joint album with Rahdan.
Most of the songs were ready and the album was put on hold. Is there any confirmed information about this album? Album name, release date, etc.

Bugra Milat – I haven't been able to produce anything in the name of rap music for about 2 years.
I have a degree in radio and television programming, and during that time I worked as a sound engineer at a television channel.
Actually, I define this period as a stage of maturity in my life.
Like everything else, there was a reason why I stopped producing parts. Hopefully, everything will be more mature and sensible from now on.
Regarding the album I made with Rahdan, it was a six-track album and it was ready, but a mistake in the mixing project of the last two tracks and life circumstances kept delaying the album.
We're considering naming the album "Alengir". Rahdan is handling all the production for the album. I can't give a definite release date right now, but we could release it online any moment.
Besides that, I'm working on a new solo album, let's see what happens 🙂

SND – Are there any other artists we'll see featured on the album? If so, who are they?

Bugra Milat – Honestly, we didn't think about a feature since it's a collaborative album. However, you can see Hayki, one of the most talented and solid names in the underground scene, on this album.

SND – Are there any rap artists in Türkiye or elsewhere that you take as role models?

Bugra Milat – I think we've passed the time for taking role models 🙂 But there are many names I admire.
In Türkiye, I listen to Hayki, Saian, Karaçalı, Kurşun, İhtilal, Rahdan, Fireber, Da Poet, Patron, İlker Uncuoğlu, and Abluka Alarm with great pleasure.

SND – Besides rap music, are there any people you look up to?

Bugra Milat – Barış Manço and Cem Karaca… Thankfully, I belong to a generation that grew up listening to these men.
Today's young people are growing up listening to men and women whose behavior is completely incompatible with our customs and traditions.
This is very sad.

I don't listen to rap very often in my daily life, but Hayko Cepkin and Mercan Dede are musicians I enjoy listening to very much.

SND – Who are the names you follow and find successful in the market?

Bugra Milat – In Türkiye, I listen to Hayki, Saian, Karaçalı, Kurşun, İhtilal, Rahdan, Fireber, Da Poet, Patron, İlker Uncuoğlu, and Abluka Alarm with great pleasure.

SND – Is there anything you'd like to say as a final message to your fans and those who love and listen to Turkish rap?
