SND – Hi Duman, can you tell us about yourself? You came in like a bomb (especially with the bullets), but we haven't seen your face or know anything decent about you. Everyone is curious: who is this Duman, what does he eat, drink, etc.?

I'm a crazy guy, according to some, or as I call myself, a real psychopath. I don't mince words. I don't care about the world. For me, it's all about Kuvvetmira, the hardcore rapper Duman, who speaks his mind about the wrongs he sees. By the way, if Sagopa were to throw 100 courses, it would be my duty to be in all 100. That's who I am.

SND – Let's ask right away, when is the Duman album coming out?

Work on the album continues; 8 tracks are already finished, and we're not rushing the rest because Kuvvetmira's principle is: if it's going to be done, let it be done well; if it's going to be talked about, let it be talked about well. We'll do the editing, then mastering, and all the rest will be handled by my producer, manager, and older brother, MIC CHECK. I have complete trust in him. Don't worry, we'll make great contributions to rap.

SND – Who do you get help from in your songs? And can you tell us a little about the album?

The people who helped me were my family, KUVVETMIRA. Keskinkilic CEZA, SILAHSIZ KUVVET, that's more than enough, we don't need help anyway. We are enough for ourselves. My album includes a song with Ceza called KIM NEDEN ÖLDÜ (Who Died and Why). There are some great collaborations with MIC CHECK. Mic Check also did the backing vocals. I'm very happy with it.

SND – and the question everyone is wondering? What happened between you and Yener?

Who will win, the expert versus the novice?

SND – people are saying you're a turncoat. Does that bother you? Or do you have something to say to them?

I know people are calling me a turncoat. I was here years ago, and I'm still here now. But everything has its time. The reason they call me a turncoat is because I didn't like Mic Check and sometimes said certain things about him behind his back. This was because some people egged me on against Mic Check. They'd say things like, "Stay away from him, he's a total jerk, he'll abandon you, that guy Mic Check is a sycophant," and so on. It was childish, but I got carried away. Later, these people abandoned me at a terrible time. So I called Mic Check and told him everything that had happened, completely and accurately. He just laughed. He said, "Never mind, everyone said these things at the time." I didn't hear anything about the bad guy I expected or that was described to me in that phone call. After that, I asked him for help, I told him to hold my hand. He immediately agreed. He said, "Come to Istanbul," and I went to him. We finished almost the entire album in a week. I have something to say to those who call him stingy: a person living alone, no matter how well-known they are, needs certain things. For example, food, drink, and entertainment. When I went to Mic Check's house, believe me, we ate the leftover food from the plate together with two slices of bread. I'll say it again, if Mic Check is an angel, I'm the devil, get that into your heads. Those who don't know him can't understand. I talked a lot about him in the past, but I won't forgive anyone who does. Don't bother, first get to know him. That's all I wanted to say about this matter. I'm not a turncoat, I'm real. If that's my crime, hang me :)

SND – can I get your favorite Turkish rap tracks, including the older ones, and can you tell us the current "best" ones?

Turkish rap bests: Alper Aga – Get Out of Here, Dazlak, Fuat – Bu Dunyada
The Unarmed Force, as a whole, and also Sagopa Kajmer, Pessimist Evren, all the melodies, Ceza-style, he's a superb rapper. Like the saying goes, "fast words shape a man," I admire this guy who keeps going fast.

SND – People see similarities between you and Sagopa, do you think so too, and if so, what are they?

The comparisons to Sagopa are great. He achieved something unprecedented. He brought out the hatred inside every person. Tell me, are you all pure as milk? Isn't there anything you can't say to people? Of course there is. Sagopa slapped them in the face. Truth = Sagopa, likewise truth = Duman. Our thoughts are the same. And don't forget, there's a hidden Sagopa Kajmer inside every person. That's a fact.

SND – Duman, who would you like to collaborate with?

Ol Dirty Bastard, Mystikal, Ony X, Mic Check, Fuat, Chuck D, Sagopa are my favorites in the featuring artists. I hope we'll soon be in the same studio, rapping together with these great masters. That's when everything will be even more perfect.

SND – as always, the last word is yours, what would you like to say?

My final messages. Know this: we didn't just jump into the scene as MCs; support us, hindering us won't get us anywhere. Some are accusing us with harsh words, don't hold back, a rapper's tongue has no bones. If it did, it wouldn't be rap. We're not making pop music. We're talking about the truth. We vent when necessary. We feel. Also know that Mic Check isn't who you think he is. Those who know, know. Love and respect to Duman, Mic Check, the Kuvvetmira family, Ceza, Fuat, and everyone else whose name I've forgotten.

Last message peace ALWAYS POWERFUL HIPHOP-FUK OL WEK MATHA FAKIZ
