Assassination.De: You've been involved in some quite successful projects lately, what would you like to say about them? And what are your plans for the future?

Gekko G: My first successful project was Young Hot Rod. He had a song called "Be Eazy" from G Unit that was constantly playing on the radio. Then I thought to myself, "If I do a track with this guy, it would be incredibly good." Through a few people, I found Hot Rod and offered him a feature. He accepted. The track, "Out My Face," with a beat by Montana Beats from Berlin, was actually a feature for my album. But after the track was finished, Hot Rod liked it and invited me to his mixtape. When I heard the names on the mixtape (50 Cent, LL Cool J, Mary J Blige, Lloyd Banks, TI, Lil Wayne), there were a few other quality artists as well.
Then he invited me on a tour in Germany, and after that I performed at a few concerts with him. We sang the song "Out My Face," and finally, we decided to shoot a music video together. You can watch it soon.
The strange thing is that after I made this track, everyone around me started calling G Unit Management and asking for features. The good thing is that I know all of them individually. Now everyone is obsessed with G Unit.
After this event, influenced by Parcan, I met DJ Unk and DJ Hotsouce, and they asked me to record Turkish rap for a mixtape that would be printed in Atlanta, USA, and distributed worldwide. I chose a track for the mixtape, and I have four official remix features: 1. DJ Unk Down ya Block, 2. Backbone Real Hustlaz, 3. Outkast Art of Storytelling, and the fourth will be a surprise. A fifth will also come as I make more tracks and receive more offers. Things are really settling in now, and I'll also be including talented surprise artists from the underground scene on my album.

Assassination.De: How's the status of your long-awaited album?

Gekko G: Album work is continuing at full speed in Altinparmak Studios. I'm planning to release it this year, Hot Rod will be on the album again, but this time with another crazy track. I don't want to give any more information about the album, if I reveal those names now, some people will cling to them like they clung to Hot Rod, so I won't give names right now, but you'll see everything when the album release gets closer. There will be no secrets in this album, it's completely Gekko. You will feel my OG (Goldmaster) spirit in this album.

Assassination.De: You received a lot of praise and a lot of criticism after these successful projects. What do you think is the reason?

Gekko G: Honestly, I agree with all of them. May those who understand never be lacking. LET THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND EXPLAIN WHAT I'M SAYING TO THOSE WHO DON'T (by Boe B – rip). By the way, may my Master's soul rest in peace.

You're receiving a lot of negative feedback from some people. What do you say about this situation?

Honestly, I feel very sorry for those people because I wouldn't recommend them meeting my listeners; there have already been a few incidents like that.
