Assassination.de: As you previously stated on your site, you had reached a preliminary agreement with Hammer Music. What are the latest developments? Headquarters: There are no problems between us and Hammer. However, due to some emerging issues, the album's release date had to be postponed for a while. We are continuing our work at full speed because we also have other projects we are working on besides the album. Assassination.de: Can you provide information about these projects? Headquarters: There are a few compilation album projects. Thanks to the friends who want to make these albums, they wanted us to be included, and we officially accepted two of them. Besides that, we'll have features on albums by various rapper friends. Assassination.de: Is there a specific theme set for the album? Headquarters: We don't want to stick to a single topic. We write about whatever we feel at the moment. However, most of our pieces have social and protest content. Assassination.de: Who produces your music? Headquarters: I (the Shaman) prepare our music. We also received support from other musicians for a few backing tracks. Assassination.de: Your album hasn't been released yet, but we know you've participated in many events. Could you tell us about them? Headquarters: As you know, our name first became known when we came in 3rd place in Turkey at the Microphone Control 2 rap competition. After that, we received invitations to various events and participated as much as we could. The Antalya Hip-Hop Festival was one of them. Besides that, we had a concert in Babaeski and performed on stage in various places in Istanbul. Suikast.de: What kind of reactions did you receive from the public at these concerts? Headquarters: First of all, let us state that we have not encountered any negative reactions. All the reactions have been positive. Assassination.de: Are there any confirmed concerts at the moment? Headquarters: We had three out-of-town concerts scheduled before Ramadan, but they were postponed due to Ramadan. We are currently waiting for the organizers to finalize the concert dates in these cities, which I don't want to name at the moment. Assassination.de: Who are you working with on your album? Headquarters: Unless there are any changes, we are preparing all of our music ourselves. For our first album, we only want to showcase ourselves, so we are not planning to collaborate with any other artists, but there might be a last-minute change and we could add one or two features to the album. Suikast.de: Two of your MP3s were previously published on our site, and while our members gave positive feedback, they also received negative criticism. How do you evaluate these? Headquarters: First of all, nobody is obligated to like us or listen to us under duress. We are always open to criticism, and we take into account the truly noteworthy and logical criticisms among these negative ones, trying to improve the aspects our listeners find lacking. Suikast.de: It was announced that the winners of the Microphone Control competition would participate in various projects and a compilation album would be made, but we haven't seen you in these projects. What is the reason for this? Headquarters: First of all, we must state that we are extremely regretful for participating in this project, which is called a competition but was prepared by unscrupulous people. We only participated in the competition at the insistence of a friend who won a prize in that competition. From that day forward, we have permanently blocked ourselves from participating in projects of this kind of person again :) Assassination.de: What are your thoughts on the Oscars that were handed out last week? Headquarters: Did you ask about the American Oscars? We didn't understand. Because we don't know of any other Oscars. And if there are any, we're very curious if it's up to condom manufacturers to hand them out :) Assassination.de: Have you listened to the latest Turkish rap albums? Headquarters: Yes, we listened. Mode XL and Ondaon have really done a great job, but we can't say the same for the other albums. We wish everyone success. As for Rapustad, we can't comment yet, we haven't had a chance to listen to them. However, the names on the album's lineup speak volumes about its quality. Suikast.de: Who are your favorite Turkish rappers? Headquarters: First of all, Karakan, who are masters of this craft, and then Miccheck, Ceza, Ondaon, Buldozer, Sirhot, and Stress Sirtlan are among the names we admire. We respect everyone who produces music, except for one group. You've probably already guessed who that is :) Assassination.de: When the group was formed, there were 3 of you, but Jakatra later left. What was the reason for Jakatra's departure? Headquarters: This is entirely Jakatra's own decision. There's no problem between us. Besides, he went to the army recently. Assassination.de: Are you following our site? Headquarters: Yes, we regularly follow suikast.de, at least every two days. We thank you very much for your efforts in the name of Turkish rap, even though you have no personal gain from it. We don't need to say anything, everyone already knows which is the best Turkish rap portal. May God keep Ozcan Aga and you with us :) Assassination.de: Amen :) Our only goal is to serve Turkish Rap. Thank you very much for this interview. Headquarters: We also thank you. Regards… We are now presenting you with the song "Last Day of the Massacre" by the group Karargah, featuring Jakatra, as an mp3 file.
