1- We already know Hate. Can we get to know the members of the Hate team individually?

DR. FUCHS:
I was born in Regensburg in 1978. After living in Germany for eight or nine years, my family and I returned to Turkey permanently. I learned Turkish in this country and completed all my education here. Currently, I am a high school graduate. I haven't lost touch with my friends in Germany, so I haven't forgotten German either. I have dedicated my life to protesting what I believe to be wrongs, games, and lies in this country or the world, whether in political or social matters, through Turkish rap.

PUNISHMENT:
I was born in Istanbul in 1977. I am a high school graduate. I work as an electrical technician (worker). Rap music is the most important part of my life…

2- I won't tell you why the hatred dissipated, everyone knows the truth of the matter by now. The hatred didn't dissipate. I have separate questions for each of you;
CEZA: Can you tell me a little bit about ASIA SYNTHESIS?
DR. FUCHS: Can you tell us about the ISTANBUL ATTACK?

DR. FUCHS:
I've had a dream for years, and I want to make it come true. This was supposed to be a one-album project, but it got bogged down in a group vibe. The aim was to bring together quality MCs in Istanbul who are trying to make it on their own and give them a chance. The goal was to put the individuals' names in the spotlight, rather than the name of the group, I mean, Istanbul Attack. So, regardless of which group they come from, if I were the rapper, I would be known as Dr. Fuchs, not Dr. Fuchs out of hatred. So, members of Sözlü Tarruz are also in the group, but... THEY WILL ALSO BE KNOWN BY THEIR OWN NAMES IN THIS GROUP.

PUNISHMENT:
ASYA SENTEZ is a Turkish rap group formed in 2000, consisting of MIC CHECK (Silahsız Kuvvet) and myself (CEZA). We will be releasing Asya Sentez's album "TOPLAMA KAMPI" (Gathering Camp) this year. Stylistically, it's quite different from Silahsız Kuvvet and Nefret… it features more underground sounds… and some very solid collaborations. These include "Deir el Bahri (Paris)," "Dumanyak (Izmir)," Dr. Fuchs, Ayben, Roka, and some surprise names… The themes are like punches to the face, stay tuned, it's coming soon…

3. What are your thoughts on rap music both abroad and in Turkey?

DR. FUCHS:
I have great respect for my friends who are involved in rap music abroad, but even though rap seems weak in Turkey right now, the underground scene is bubbling. For them to come to the surface, we or groups like us need to increase the number of albums so that record companies support rap music. The financial situation and opportunities of people involved in rap music in Germany are much better than in Turkey, and I think this is the biggest factor. Right now, even Nefret doesn't have its own studio, I can't even imagine what would happen if Allah Tanki did. And then there's my situation abroad and in Turkey... One thing I've noticed is that if there are groups coming from abroad to sell albums in Turkey, I think they should improve their Turkish a bit. Wordplay is very influential in the new rap music being made here. Maybe the rappers abroad won't even understand the raps we send them, but I still send my biggest greetings to them because they were the ones who started this Turkish rap thing first! If anyone says otherwise, which I don't think they do, they're lying.

PUNISHMENT:
When we look at rap artists abroad, the themes are generally about the hardships experienced in exile. The rebellion inherent in rap is heavily evident in the songs of these musicians, as well as homesickness. Of course, there are also those who talk about things outside of these themes. The rap scene in Türkiye has come a long way in a few years; the albums released recently are a testament to this. But so many rap groups have formed here that I can say a new one emerges every day. However, few are producing anything substantial... We've even witnessed groups performing on stage more than the audience at some parties. High-quality rap is now being made in Türkiye on a global scale; the goal is to make the best possible sound to make our voices heard... All that's needed is support and respect. But unfortunately, these aren't currently among the moral values that are held in sufficient high regard. And to those who make a distinction between exile and Turkey, I have a message: if you're not contributing, at least don't cause harm.

4- Can you tell us the "best" ones? (Best and worst counting 🙂)

DR. FUCHS:
In my opinion, there are two people I know who are currently the best MCs abroad. One is Bektas, whom I love and respect very much. Then there's Fuat, who you'd need a thousand witnesses to call a true expatriate. I listened to Sert Müslümanlar in Germany in '95, and I liked some of their songs. However, I want to tell them something: they've been mixing the same songs since '95. In Turkey, they release the same album every year with different backing tracks. I think if these guys make new songs, they could be one of the influential groups in Turkey. IN TURKEY, ONE OF THE BEST IN RAP AND MUSIC CULTURE IS CURRENTLY NARCOTICS-RELATED SIT HOT, MY BROTHER.

PUNISHMENT:
In my opinion, the best DJs are DJ Mic Check and DJ Mahmut. As for MCs, I'd say Sirhot, Mic Check, Dumanyak, Bektaş, and Fuat.
In terms of production, I think Sirhot and DJ Walkie D are names that can do really great things.

5- What did you think of Mic Check's album? (Please give separate comments)

DR. FUCHS:
As you know, I don't have much of a relationship with Mic Check, but I think the 17th track on his album, "Tek Basina Dimdirek Yasa," is where he truly found himself. I really liked it in terms of its interpretation, theme, and production. I gave the album a 4 out of 10.

PUNISHMENT:
In my opinion, the album "My Words Are My Weapon" is a very high-quality, sophisticated, and solid Turkish rap album. A lot of effort has been put into it; it's a production that deserves respect. I think every rap listener should have it in their archive. A 19-track rap feast. Great work, Mic Check…

6. What do you think of Fresh B?

DR. FUCHS:
Even though they say he doesn't make rap music in Turkey and even though I don't listen to love songs, this isn't related to Fresh. I don't normally listen to love songs. I have great respect for this guy because he has supported the advancement of rap in Turkey, at least with one album. There's actually a lot to say to those superhuman beings who just talk nonsense, but it's best not to waste my time.

PUNISHMENT:
If rap is being made in a country, there should be variety. If it's just hate-themed or Fresh B-style, people will get bored. I think Fresh B makes rap for people who don't like hardcore rap, and I respect that. He's also a friend I'm constantly in touch with. He's a good person too…

7. Which song from the new album will have a music video? Will the video be included on the CD again?

DR. FUCHS:
This time, we plan to shoot music videos for more songs on the album, but we're considering "Anahtar" (Key), a song where we humorously criticize the socialite inflation and similar events that are dominating the Turkish agenda. We don't plan to put it on a CD this time because such events wasted a lot of our time on our previous album.

PUNISHMENT:
As Fuchs mentioned, we're planning to make a music video for the track called "Key." The album has some really solid features. It's become a total hate song. Nobody will be disappointed.

8- Who would you like to collaborate with? (individually or as a group)

DR. FUCHS:
It's not something I attach much importance to, but since you asked such a question, I can say DMX right now because he brought a whole new dimension to rap. Rakim could also be an option; his dominance over rap music is above everything else. In fact, I think those I mentioned are currently the best MCs in the world.

PUNISHMENT:
I used to want to collaborate with a few French artists, but recent events have made me hesitant about that. However, I would love to collaborate with American artists like Dan Mos Def, Sticky Fingaz, and Das EFX…

9- Finally, is there anything you would like to add?

DR. FUCHS:
YES, WE MUST BUILD NOT JUST ONE, BUT MANY MORE BRIDGES BETWEEN TURKEY AND ABROAD, SO THAT FRIENDSHIPS ARE STRENGTHENED AND WE CAN ADD COLOR TO TURKISH RAP. I SEND MY BIGGEST GREETINGS TO EVERYONE WHO RESPECTS TURKISH RAP. THERE'S NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF. I THINK THE NEW ALBUM WILL BE THE HIGHEST QUALITY RAP ALBUM EVER RELEASED IN THE WORLD. NEFRET KNOWS WHAT IT'S DOING. RESPECTS.

PUNISHMENT:
I offer my respect and love to the honest people who produce and support Turkish rap. Also, thank you to the entire Assassination family for the interview… HIP HOP 1 BOMB!!!!!
