SND: Could you tell us a little about your album "Sus," which was long awaited but only recently released?

YENER: The album has 12 tracks. There are features with Stereo Cem and Turbo. Since the album was finished in 1999, it doesn't have an arabesque sound. The arabesque sound will be in my new album, 'KEPENK', and I declare that 'Everyone will show respect before me!'

SND: We know a music video was made for the song 'High School Student'. Will the video be shown on TV?

YENER: I don't know much either. Hopefully it will be shown.

SND: What are your thoughts on the current state of the rap scene in Türkiye?

YENER: There are very few people who do a good job. The only one doing the best is IZMIR.

SND: What are your thoughts on Turkish rap made abroad?

YENER: This is done better in Türkiye because they have the resources that we don't. The resources we lack allow us to reflect rap better. That's why rap in Türkiye is better.

SND: Who do you consider your rivals?

YENER: Just myself, because my style is 'Street Language & Literature' = YENER.

SND: What are some names you'd like to collaborate with?

YENER: I only do collaborations with my closest friends. And they're only a select few...

SND: Which local/foreign artists do you listen to?

YENER: Local: Myself, Crack, Islamic Force (Rip Boe-B / You Are in My Heart…), Sound (Dream-Man), Static, CashFlow Records, Steryo Cem…

SND: Can you explain the difference between the rap you're doing now and the rap on your album 'Sus'?

YENER: There's a world of difference between them, everyone should prepare themselves well for my KEPENK album, a shantytown kid; speaking from the slums…!

SND: Who are you working with right now?

YENER: Dj Mahmut, Steryo Cem, Dj Yasin, Dj Çağdaş

SND: You participated in the event in Izmir on March 7th, what are your thoughts on this event?

YENER: If anyone can do better, let them step forward…

SND: Your official website recently launched. There's been a lot of interest. What would you like to say about this interest and support?

YENER: Musa T, Osman Ovalı, Esra Fırtina, and others whose names I've forgotten, are the people who supported me on this site. My endless thanks to all of them. I send my respects to all the defenders of hip-hop culture who didn't leave me alone on this site! 'My love is only for those who love me!'
