Why did they consider delaying the release of adrenaline?

I had a health issue and had to finish the album with only 10 songs. I submitted it to Cennet Müzik, and we waited for the legal procedures. For some reason, it took a very long time, so I explained that it was postponed. However, after some time, the CDs were printed, the banderols arrived, and they went to the distributor. We couldn't reach an agreement with the distributor, so we took the CDs from the warehouse and distributed them ourselves.

Can you tell us about the Adrenalin album?

Before Adrenalin, I was releasing online albums, but these were usually just compilations of recordings I had made. With Adrenalin, I decided to focus on the tracks and release them with official labels. We recorded in various studios and worked on it. In the end, while it wasn't amazing, we got a fairly satisfying result.

You generally talk about the dark side of life. How do you create your lyrics? What kind of mood are you in when you write?

It's not always certain; I can write lyrics anytime. That's not a problem. Since the things I talk about are current and constantly seen on television and in the streets, finding material isn't difficult.

The number of rappers in Turkey is increasing every day, but apart from a few prominent names, very few rappers release albums with official labels. What do you attribute this to?

There are both legal challenges and company problems. Companies weren't interested in rap before. Now they're very interested, but they expect more popular sounds. Because our rappers' sounds are underground, they generally can't find companies. And to make our own original music, we need to have our own record labels, like most MCs and groups in other countries.

Like Adrenalin, will your subsequent works also have an underground sound?

For my second album, I plan to combine underground and mainstream sounds. Of course, in different tracks. There will be beats you can listen to in a club, but the lyrics and concept will be the same. Think of it like The Game, though not quite 50 Cent. Alongside my classic Eastern-sounding tracks, there will be Western beats, but the lyricism will remain the same.

How do you see the future of rap music in Turkey?

I believe that the majority of the new generation listens to Rap, especially in the last 2-3 years. Ceza has a big role in this. People also know other rappers. I hope that in the future, Turkish Rap will become a real industry.

After reaching your audience online, you release a licensed album, and people prefer to get it for free. What are your thoughts on this attitude?

You can't prevent this, I'm not blaming anyone. But they shouldn't forget that the sound quality of a song you download and listen to isn't the same, and listening to an MP3 isn't like opening an album and putting in a CD. The industry is changing. The era of digital labels is coming. Real artists in smaller companies will have a better chance against heavily promoted fake artists, and releasing albums will become easier.
