Snoop RA: We have Sena, one of the masters of flex, here with us. Sena, can you introduce yourself? Who is Sena?

Sena: Hi, Sena is 20 years old. She's a Turkish MC who has been living in Germany for 5 years. She's been rapping since 2002.

SNooP Ra: Sena, many people who didn't know you very well got to know you at the Antalya Hip-Hop Festival. You gave an extraordinary rap performance, and people were left speechless. Some even mentioned Ceza, but what are your thoughts on that? I mean, Ceza was the first name that came to people's minds, but it was Sena on stage.

Sena: First of all, thank you for liking my performance, but I was unprepared and gave what I would call a semi/freestyle performance due to some glitches. You touched on an important point regarding Ceza. I haven't had the opportunity to explain this everywhere. I never compare myself to Ceza, and now they've used this comparison in various places for defamation purposes. I don't like being compared to Ceza, and I now think there's malicious intent behind those who do.

Snoop Ra: Yes, you're absolutely right about that. Gekko is one of the pioneers in the Turkish rap scene. For example, Flex, but most people think that way because they know Flex from Ceza. I agree that your style isn't like Ceza's. So, would you like to be a rapper as famous and well-known as Ceza?

Sena: Yes, you mentioned Gekko, there was Sihir from the old days. For example, someone who sang in this style. But since most people don't know him, they associate him with the first person they see in the spotlight. Actually, comparing fast-beating rappers to Ceza is disrespectful to Ceza, in my opinion. Of course, we all want to achieve most of the things he has achieved. These are the goals of most of us, and we want to do even more.

Snoop Ra: Do you think that when people make money or achieve success in rap, they forget about the underground or those penniless times, or will that be reflected in their lyrics?

Sena: Absolutely not! If I said right now that I have money and cars, nobody in my rap would care. But if I go out and say that, people think it's going to bother them and change their perception of rappers. Underground music, in my opinion, doesn't prevent you from making money. For example, Wu-Tang is the biggest underground group in the world. From a perspective standpoint...

Snoop Ra: Sena, how did you get acquainted with flex? I mean, was it initially flex or flow? How did you discover and develop yourself in this area?

Sena: I don't remember my first recordings, I just know they were really bad. Actually, it's not entirely clear what I'm doing right now either. One minute it's double-time rap, the next it's very slow, battle-heavy. In my opinion, that's how it should be. People should constantly try different things. But the only thing I know is that in order to improve yourself, you first need to consume at the maximum level.

SnooP RA: Sena, what do you look for in a featured artist? Are you saying you'll do a collaboration with anyone, or are there certain points you think they need to reach a certain level?

Sena: Well, we can do it. After all, in rap, I value friendship more than a career. As long as they are people I trust and who have solid character. But unfortunately, I have to turn down those who come to me online asking to do a collaboration. The first reason is that I don't have my own studio at my disposal. The second reason is that I don't know their personalities.

SNooP RA: For example, if you were in Türkiye, would you do a show with me in my studio, buddy?:))

Sena: I'll announce it here too, I can't do collaborations with anyone online. Then they say I'm stuck-up or something. I'm really bothered by that. It's not because I'm stuck-up, it's because I can't easily afford to pay for studio gigs. But if I were in Türkiye, I would definitely do it with you. =)

Sena: For example, would you do a collaboration with a pop singer or someone from another music genre besides rap?
Sena: I really want to do a collaboration with Ajdar.

Sena: I'd like to do a piece with Ajdar that critiques the concepts of "good" and "bad." Sophisticated : )

SnooPRA: I recently started a thread on the assassination forum about who should be the rapper; it seems like everyone's doing it now. Do you agree?

Sena: I think everyone should try it at least once. Really, everyone should give it a try. If they can do it, they should continue. But when they realize they can't, or if the number of people telling them they can't is greater than the number praising them, they should quit immediately and stop clinging to rap like a leech. I know guys like that who've been in rap for years.

SnooP Ra: What are the differences between Türkiye and Europe, and which one is more advantageous?

Sena: I don't know about other European countries, but let me take Germany as an example. It's an undeniable fact that rappers in Germany have an advantage. In Turkey, the number of record companies that release rap albums doesn't even exceed the fingers of one hand. But in Germany, it's become a sector. Companies are investing in rap and profiting. It's not just the companies; the listeners are also high-quality. And the work produced is also high-quality.

SnooP Ra: So, will Sena release an album with a banderol (official label) or is there a specific timeframe for that?

Sena -Yes, I want to release it. We've started working on it. We were even close to signing a deal with a record company in Turkey. There were some setbacks. The record company decided not to release rap albums, so it was put on hold for a while. Now, once the album is finished, we'll see about the company's situation. It could be released in Germany and distributed in Türkiye. By the way, a licensed album has nothing to do with coming out of the underground. With a licensed album, you can simply reach listeners more easily and get the reward for your efforts.

SnooP RA: Okay, a personal question: will Sena quit rapping or become a producer after a certain age?

Sena: By the time she reaches a certain age, she'll be a married person with her own business and children. Maybe she'll just listen to rap from afar. But if she achieves her goals within ten years, everything could be different; she could become a producer, organizer, or even an MC at that age.

SnooP Ra: Sena, I'll say Turkish rap artists you like, but maybe you don't want to answer. Is there any foreign artist you'd really like to do a feature with?

Sena: In Turkish rap, there isn't one specific person I'd like to collaborate with, but there are some brothers I admire.
But the artist I'd most like to collaborate with from abroad is Bizzy Bone!

SnooP RA: What are Sena's future projects?

Sena - I'm currently in a group called GCB Crew, the GCB Sampler album will be released soon and all the MCs will contribute with their solo tracks. For myself, I'm thinking about an EP and a licensed album first, the rest will follow. Parties will continue in Türkiye and Germany.

SnooP RA: Speaking of foreign rappers, does Sena prefer East or West, and why?

Sena: I know you're a huge West fan. So I wouldn't dare call you East =) but I'm also obsessed with West in foreign rap.
